Nara
個人的に訪れている回数が多い奈良は、京都からのアクセスも良く奈良公園だけ見て日帰りで帰ってしまう観光客が多いのをどう取り込むかが課題となっているそうだが、泊まらないのはあまりにも勿体なさすぎる。少し南に行けば飛鳥、高野、十津川など魅力は語りつくせない。
About Nara
東大寺、二月堂、春日大社などで有名な奈良公園では１日で見どころをすべて見るのは難しく近くの古民家ゲストハウスに宿泊をお勧めする。何故なら鹿にせんべいをあげて歩いているだけで時間がたってしまうからだ。夜には公園内の灯篭に灯が付く。年に１度行われる「なら燈花会」などイベントもあるので日帰りではもったいない。
In Nara Park, which is famous for Todaiji Temple, Nigatsudo, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, etc., it is difficult to see all the highlights in one day, so we recommend staying at a nearby old folk house guesthouse. The reason is that it takes time just to raise a rice cracker to a deer and walk. At night, the lanterns in the park are lit. There are also events such as the Nara Tokae Festival, which is held once a year, so it's a waste on a day trip.
South Area
南部のルートは日帰りでは難しく飛鳥→十津川→洞川温泉で宿泊といった周遊ルートがお勧め。飛鳥では棚田、遺跡観光を周ることができる。また非常に趣のある日本最古のすし屋である「弥助」がある。十津川では世界遺産の「熊野古道、果無集落」、温泉街のライトアップが美しい洞川温泉など、どれもロケーションは最高レベルだ。
The southern route is difficult on a day trip, and we recommend a tour route such as Asuka → Totsukawa → lodging at Togawa Onsen. In Asuka, you can go around rice terraces and archaeological sites. There is also "Yasuke", the oldest sushi restaurant in Japan, which is very quaint. In Totsukawa, the location is at the highest level, such as the world heritage "Kumano Kodo, Hatenashi Village" and the beautifully lit up hot spring town of Togawa Onsen.
