What impressed me in Bali was the beautiful Ulun Danu Beratan Temple on the shore of the lake, which is so famous that you can find it first when you search for images in Bali, but you can take a taxi from Tempazar, the downtown area where the airport is located. I have to go to the lake in the mountains for about 3 hours. I really wanted to take a picture of the sunrise, so I booked a hotel about 5 minutes on foot from the lake and set out to shoot before the sunrise the next morning. The temple isn't as big as I expected, and the weather is unfortunately cloudy as it can be reached in 10 minutes. So I'm cheating by image processing.
Another unforgettable hotel is Kupu Kupu Barong, where I stayed for two nights. The view of the river Ayung Valley in the jungle right in front of the room is the best. The undulating site is wide and there are many slopes, so you will need to use an electric cart, but it is interesting to just walk and explore. You can also eat at a birdcage-like restaurant called Bird Nest, which you booked directly from Japan to the hotel.
Other than that, there are the "Tirta Empul Temple" where the sacred spring that you enter after bathing, the "Tukachupun Waterfall" with a sense of seclusion, and the lotus flower that you stopped by during the beautiful walking path called "Champuan Ridge" on the final day. There was no nice cafe in Japan with the countryside in front of me, which was great.
In Bali, where traffic conditions are complicated, there are basically only car charters, taxis, and cheap bus movements, and while studying the area, it is planned to take four months to select tourist attractions and reserve restaurants. I really wanted to go to Komodo Island, where the Komodo dragon is, but as of half a year ago, the plane was full and the 10 consecutive holidays were more crowded than expected. Having visited his first spa twice in his life, he had almost no traffic rules just to buy a Balinese car license and suffered from motion sickness due to rough driving.
